Gh0ce posts Dingux volume adjust script

In the best example yet seen on this site of a zen-like stream of consciousness leading to sudden explosive potent and unstoppable action, just like Neo or Kwai Chang Caine (and then settles down like a little pebble in your palm), Gh0ce solves a problem which bothered at least one person! Grab his script here, and enjoy the story behind its genesis:

Gh0ce: so to adjust the volume and store it, you would need an ini file or something to store the value and have main read from that file... shouldn't be too hard

Gh0ce: gonna write up a quick shell script that will save the volume setting (ie if you have it set to "normal" when you reboot it will be set to normal)

Aug 18 2009, 11:45 AM

Gh0ce: or does the latest dingux do that already?

Aug 18 2009, 11:51 AM

Gh0ce: nope... dingux doesn't retain volume settings...

Aug 18 2009, 12:21 PM

Gh0ce: almost done

Aug 18 2009, 12:31 PM

Gh0ce: script written and working

Aug 18 2009, 12:32 PM

Gh0ce: does anyone want me to post it or is it too trivial?

Aug 18 2009, 12:39 PM

Gh0ce: This was a problem that only bothered me? odd...

Aug 18 2009, 1:03 PM

Gh0ce: well off to bed.. posted it at http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f4e104c3ad37872b36df4e8dca141969e04e75f6e8ebb871 if anyone is interested
